Your voice could reach someone we can’t.

Not everyone affected by the Armed Forces LGBT Ban knows that the Financial Recognition and Non-Financial Restorative Measures Schemes exist.

Some people have lost touch with military networks. Others may not identify as being a veteran due to the mistreatment they endured, or after their military career was cut short.

Application deadline:
Saturday 12th December

Why we need
your help.

We want to reach everyone who was affected and let them know about the schemes and the support that’s available.

Whether you’re an individual, a business, a community group, a support organisation or a healthcare provider, you can play an important role in helping us reach those who may be eligible before applications close.

Even one conversation, one social media post or one poster displayed in the right place could help someone take their first step.

Applications close on 12th December 2026.

How you can help.

There are lots of simple ways you can support:

Share the message.

Help raise awareness by sharing campaign information across your own channels, whether that’s social media, community or staff noticeboards, newsletters, waiting areas or websites.

Display campaign materials.

Put posters, leaflets or digital screens in places where former service personnel and the wider general public may see them.

Talk about schemes.

If you work with veterans, Armed Forces communities or older adults, let people know that support and recognition is available.

Reach your community.

Use your own networks, events and contacts to help spread the message further.

Every action, no matter how small, helps us reach more people.
